Launching new Casual Support Worker roles + Respite Care

In mid 2025 Gateway Care Hunter will facilitate a new service offering casual support worker roles and respite care for NDIS participants needing additional supports.  Contact ndis@gatewaycarehunter.au for more information and interest.  We are looking to hire support workers with at least Cert IV in disability, a current police check and NDIS workers check.

About Us

Gateway Care has won numerous awards for its services, such as Winner of Lake Macquarie’s Beneficiary Charity of the Year - 2023, and Winner of Lake Mac Awards Covid-19 Hero of the Year – 2021.

As the non-profit arm of Gateway Church, for the past 12 years we have been feeding our community— no matter what age, gender, or cultural background; or anyone finding it hard to make ends meet. We help by providing free food such as hot meals, fresh bread, fruit and vegetables, and the delivery of food packages.  Recently Gateway Care has become the Second Bite distribution hub for over sixty non-profit charities in the Hunter.

We are now expanding our services into NDIS supports and are seeking someone who would like to join a small, agile Christian organisation with a big heart. Our workplace is inclusive, friendly, and empowering.
